When I started my business, one of my key concepts was learning the stories and the authentic heart of my potential clients. I knew that this would be better done out of a stuffy office, where we tend to be ‘business focused’ and perhaps a bit guarded. The method that I used for this was having coffee meetings with business people at various coffee shops and see how I could help them. These meetings were about THEM and I gave information freely. I set out to have 100 cups of coffee in 100 days with 100 different business people and it turned into a movement that has been replicated by others, and grown into a speaking topic and book project.
